If these minimum requirements are not met, the following must be completed to operate an ATV or MOTORBIKE on Public Roads in Shoshone County and Idaho

Minimum equipment requirements met

Proof of ownership must be in your possession

Unit must be inspected either free by a Deputy  Sheriff or local police officer, or at a cost of $3.00 by a local DMV department officer. An affidavit of inspection will be supplied to owner.

Purchase of an Off Road Sticker available at the DMV office in the Shoshone County Courthouse, Wallace, Mon-Fri 9-5. Cost is $10.00 for the current year.

Purchase of a Courtesy Plate available at the DMV office in the Shoshone County Courthouse, Wallace, Mon-Fri 9-5. Cost is $16.00 for the current year.
